Susan Clarke is a writer and cultural starter based in North Staffordshire in the UK's north west midlands.
She has been passionate about reading, writing and performance since a young age and has developed her style and her skills through 40 years of practice as a theatre maker, co-deviser, performer, and artistic director.
Susan co-founded B arts (Beavers ) in 1985, the UK's first women led street theatre company. The first B arts handbook, that shares the story of the company and how the company's varied programmes of participatory work have developed over the years will be published in 2024.
Susan's writing portfolio includes adventures in poetry, prose, editorial, and speeches. This website is dedicated to showcasing the different elements of Susan's writing portfolio.
